Defect with MOSS 2007 Document library permissions

This is a critical update for all you guys downloading this utility, the List Security Manager does not really work for Document Libraries, as there is an inherent bug with MOSS 2007, even though this utility updates the tp_WriteSecurity in the Content database for the particular document library, it still allows users with contribute access to modify/edit each others documents.
However, the same is not true for a Sharepoint List, this utility works perfectly well. I have raised a technical concern about this to Microsoft.

The Item Level Permissions setting that is used for lists and not available for Document Libraries (which is what I'm assuming you're using) is also "ignored" by WebDav so if a user maps a folder in Windows to the document library, any item level settings are not honoured. I came across this issue and went down the event handler route to set actual file permissions.
